Musk's company Neuralink installed a chip in the human brain for the first time

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk's company Neuralink has claimed to implant a brain chip in humans. The company said the brain-chip transplant was performed on the first human patient on Sunday, which was successful, and the patient is recovering rapidly. Giving this information on social media, Musk said that the initial results are encouraging and seem to give hope in detecting the neuron spike. He said that the first product of Neuralink will be called Telepathy. Its aim is to make the lives of people suffering from neurological disorders easy. Neuralink received US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for human trials last year.

According to Musk, you will be able to control your phone or computer and almost any device through them just by thinking. “The initial users will be those who have lost the use of their limbs,” he said. Imagine that Stephen Hawking could communicate faster than a typist or an auctioneer, that's the goal.'

How will it work, in which disease will it be beneficial?

Musk started the neurotechnology company Neuralink Startup in 2016, which is working on creating a direct communication channel between the brain and computers. The chip will be inserted inside the human brain through surgery. In a way, it will work like the human brain. It can be used for people facing brain and nervous system disorders.
